Hôtel Première Classe Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu

“My experience (2 people, double-bed room on the 5th floor, with breakfast, during the low season – January 2026) is very different from the reviews posted here. I’d like to start by highlighting the excellent value for money! Very central location (10 minutes on foot from Part-Dieu station), 24-hour reception, air conditioning working very well, room with the necessary space (note: we were traveling with just one backpack each), window with very good sound insulation from outside noise, very comfortable bed, good room and bathroom cleanliness. Although the shower is eco-friendly, it had enough pressure for a proper shower. There was a shower gel dispenser in the shower, which even smelled nice. Another positive point was the free water machine (including sparkling water). The breakfast buffet was very good, with a wide variety of options and quality products. Less positive points (but I would stay here again!): little sound insulation between rooms (and yes, you can hear the train a bit — but believe me, the difference with or without the window closed is huge, and our room faced the back); they could provide one more small towel (for hands or to place on the floor after the shower); one of the elevators was out of order, so it sometimes took a long time (and it was often better to take the stairs); breakfast is served in the building right next door, so you have to go outside and face the cold and/or rain to get there.”

“The staff at the counter is really friendly and made every of my wishes come true. The rooms are clean. All in all a really comfortable room next to Lyon Gare. Spent very good days in Lyon herr. I can recommend this.”

“I couldn't ask for more from this hotel. It was a very comfortable stay and will definitely come back. When you're always out and about, you don't really need all these luxury amenities in a hotel. A clean room, comfortable bed, functional shower with good water pressure and enough space to store your necessities. This place delivers all of these. Yes, the room size is a bit small but there's a decent closet space to organize your clothes. And the bathroom has a side nook where you can put all your toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Good sleep, a train station down the street and also a mall. Just casually awesome.”
